Appointment Information
Our GP appointments are changing on the 31st of October. We are aware that it has been difficult in recent months to pre book appointments and are hoping that the change will improve access. Below is a summary of changes we have made:
Book on the day:
Previously these have been available for routine problems, but as of the 31st of October this will no longer be the case. A limited number of Book on the day appointments will still be available but will be for EMERGENCIES only.
Routine appointments:
Both Telephone and Face to Face appointments will be available to book up to 3 weeks in advance by telephone, in person or by an approved online APP (which you will need to register for). Please ask a member of our reception team on how to do this.
Routine appointments will be changing from 10 to 15 minutes to accommodate patients who have multiple problems which they need to discuss or who just need a little extra time.
Emergency appointments will remain at 10 minutes and will be for ONE urgent problem only.
